Ya Ali Madad,
I have a question regarding our shia belief, I believe in Allah and the Ahlul Bayt and I know that Allah makes everything happen. When ever I am in need of something I ask our imams, for example I will ask Imam-e-Zamana, please help me or Ya Ali please help me. A lot of other sects criticise this act and say we should only ask Allah for help.
Can you please advise? Am I doing something wrong? I love our imams.
Thank you, Hassan Mansoor
Do Shia believe the Act of Allah to be separate from the Essence that performs that Act? So for example is the Act of creation separate from the Essence. I have read that the Attributes of Action are separate from the Attributes of Essence.
Could you please clarify this?
My mother demands me not to keep beard while I am convinced that I should keep beared as an Islamic culture. When I researched I came to know that obeying parents is compulsory whereas beard is not compulsory.
So according to Islam what should be my action? Duty toward my mother by fulfilling her wish or duty toward Allah (which is non obligatory).
A question I've asked myself ever since I can remember.
A question I am too afraid to voice. I can't help but ask myself, does God exist or am I conditioned to believe he does?
There are many reasons why I disbelieve, and only a few why I believe. Here are a handful:
Reasons I doubt God:
> Our universe and being does not need a God to exist (even if just theories, their existence disproves the need for a God)
I have heard a hadees in majlis where Rasulallah (a.s) says he can smell the smell of Allah coming from Yemen where a follower of his resides. The follower came from Yemen to see the Prophet , but was unable to meet him as he was not in Madina at the time. The visitor's mother had made him promise that he would come back quickly under all circumstances, and since the Prophet was not in Madina he had to return. When Rasulallah came back he said he could smell the scent of Allah coming from Yemen, because this follower so closely obeyed the commands of his mother.
I am aware of islam and it's teaching, I've read a lot about it from official websites, but I've rejected it completely and I am an Atheist.
