i wanted to ask shias regard imam Hussian a.s as high and call themselves as imam Hussain's supporter and try to follow his footstep. Imam Hussein did not bow down to yazid or pretend to become his follower even when his life was in danger, so why do shias believe that if their life is in danger they can pretend to be an follower from another religion or become Sunni? isn't that going against imam hussains a.s teachings?

Questions about the Islamic Revolution of 1979

There were many acts of violence committed during the Islamic Revolution of 1979. I have heard first hand from someone that escaped with their family (they are of the Baha'i faith) that individuals and families that did not convert were killed.

1. Is this true? How do we respond to allegations that the Shia are violent and are taught to kill all non-believers?

2. What is the Shia perspective on the violence during the Islamic Revolution. Was it all justified?

Assalam alaykum,

With due respect, we get to hear now and then from the pulpits that Imam Hussein a.s while doing jihad heard the call of ''Yaa ayyuhal nafsul mutmainnah.....(sura fajr v. 27-30) and so he put his sword in its sheath and stopped his jihad and yelled to the enemies to kill him nauzubillah and they all started attacking Imam as he stood there defenseless.

Isnt this an insult to both the loving creator and his beloved? Why is this so much repeated from the pulpits despite its inauthenticity?

please clarify .

Salam maulana i have few questions pls help

1) in the event of karbala we often hear that janabe qasim was a groom for only one night. Does that mean janabe qasim got married on 9th moharram in karbala?

2) we know that imam hussain was martyred at asr time. We pray zohr asr together. So did imam not offer asr prayers?

And we do faka shiknee (breaking of faqa) at sunni's asr time but we dont pray zohr asr seperate. Then why is it like that? I didnt understand
